The design of Girin centers around the concept of a Korean farmhouse experience within the urban landscape of downtown Seattle. Inspired by traditional building materials, guests transition through the space reflecting this concept. At the entrance, a heavy wood door with metal details serves as the gateway to the building. Upon entering, guests walk through the indoor garden to reach both the bar and primary dining area. Centered in the dining room is the wooden farmhouse itself, a dramatic contrast to the modern building it is housed within. Reflecting a traditional farmhouse layout, seating in front of the structure emulates that of a dining patio.
